Provision of a supported living service for Service Users with mental health problems and strives to improve service user’s daily living skills and also provides social integration opportunities. Social inclusion and independence are two very important factors that the staff work towards in partnership with the service users. Everybody is encouraged to reach their personal potential and prepare for independent living once they move on from the scheme. Meaningful activites occur frequently and might include: visiting our allotment and picking fruit/vegetables, arts and crafts sessions and going out for meals out. Many service users move into their own homes after living at this scheme but go on the receive support from our Home Support scheme.
We provide an intensive 24hr staffed service to 5 service users in our supported living scheme.
Referrals for the Housing come through the Community Mental Health Team.
