Runners come out for Praxis Care!
Runners from throughout Northern Ireland came out to support the work of Praxis Care in the 2011 May Day Belfast City Marathon.
Praxis Care is the largest Northern Ireland charity providing care and support for vulnerable children and adults affected by mental ill health, learning disability, acquired brain injury and dementia.
Paul Collins Assistant Director Fundraising and Communications:
“Praxis Care is delighted that so many people came out in support of our work.
Praxis Care had volunteers running in the fun run and relay as well as completing the full marathon.
We had volunteer runners from throughout Northern Ireland including projects in Kesh, Derry and Portadown
All monies raised from the marathon will go towards supporting the local work of Praxis Care.
It is through these volunteer efforts that Praxis Care is able to provide accommodation and support services for people with mental ill health, learning disability, acquired brain injury and dementia”
