Let's Keep On Supporting People

The Supporting People programme helps fund Praxis Care’s schemes in Newry. Thirteen individuals are supported in Kilmorey House and eight adults are supported in Connaught House.
Since moving into Praxis Care’s scheme in Connaught House in 2004, Alan’s life has literally turned around. When Alan initially moved in his lifestyle was chaotic and he required ongoing support in a group living setting. Since then Alan has moved into his own flat in Praxis Care’s scheme at Kilmorey House, also in Newry. This move has afforded him even greater independence.
Along with input from the Southern Trust and Oaklee-Trinity Housing Association, these Praxis Care services, funded through the Supporting People programme have had a major impact on Alan and helped turn his life around, so that he is now enjoying everyday living.
