Pauline’s Making A Close Shave For Praxis Care & Hospice

Praxis Care scheme based at Thomas Street, Portadown are holding a coffee morning and head shave on 23rd April 2015 from 11am- 3pm.

The coffee morning will also include a raffle with prizes generously donated by many of the local businesses.

Pauline Heslip, Team Leader, Praxis Care Portadown says;

“I am getting my head shaved to raise money for the Southern Area Hospice Services, and any money raised from the coffee morning and raffle will be shared between the Southern Area Hospice Services and Praxis Care.

I have decided to organize a fundraising event because one of our service users recently spent some time in the Newry Hospice and we were all very impressed with the standard of care she received and also the support given to her partner and children by the hospice staff so this is our opportunity to give something back.

Most people know someone who has been diagnosed with cancer or a terminal illness. Southern Area Hospice Services provide free care and support to those patients who live in the Southern Health Trust Area, as well as to their families. They are a local charity and they rely to a large extent on fundraising to provide these much needed services. “

If you would like to donate or support our fundraising event why not come along to the Coffee Morning on the 23rd April from 11.00-3.00pm at Locke House, 132-136 Thomas Street, Portadown or if you prefer you can

donate online, search for Pauline Heslip on the Just Giving website (https://www.justgiving.com/Paulineheslip)
