Views From Users Survey 2011

The needs, views and aspirations of service users is central to the service development and delivery of Praxis Care services.  One way in which the voice of service users is heard is via the ‘Views from Users’ service user survey where every service user is encouraged to have his/her say on various aspects of the service received from Praxis Care.

The Praxis Care Research Department is responsible for administrating the survey and for collating, analysing and disseminating the key information.

Given that Praxis Care provides care and support to a wide range of service users with a range of communication abilities, the organisation has adopted a 3 strand approach to ensure service users can engage more meaningfully in the process and participate in a way that suits their individual needs.

Strand I

Independent Readers – Postal Survey For service users who can read and write independently
Strand II

Service Users who Need Questions Read to Them For service users who require assistance to complete the survey
Strand III Service Users who Require an Alternative Methodology For service users who have very limited communication skills and require alternative communication methods in order to participate e.g Talking Mats or Makaton

Staff Survey 2011

Praxis Care is committed to creating a culture in which staff are valued and their achievements recognised.  One way to assess the extent to which staff feel valued by the organisation is via the staff survey.  The survey is administered every 3 years and provides staff members with an opportunity to provide feedback to the organisation on how satisfied they are with the training provided, the support received, the opportunities for career progression, their levels of job satisfaction and areas of dissatisfaction.

The Praxis Care Research Department is responsible for distributing the survey to each scheme and for collating, analysing and disseminating the key information.

Praxis Care :: Research :: Surveys :: Stakeholder Survey 2009 - 2010

Stakeholder Survey 2010

Praxis Care is committed to listening to and responding to the views of everyone involved with their services. • Service User Representatives (e.g. family members; advocates)
  • Statutory Professionals (e.g. Senior Managers; Consultants; Key workers)
  • Housing Associations
