Under the UK HM Revenue and Customs Gift Aid Scheme, individual donors can make payments, large or small, regular or one-off, to UK charities under Gift Aid. Under this scheme, Praxis Care is entitled to reclaim the basic rate tax on donations from HM Revenue and Customs. This means that, if you are a UK taxpayer, your gift can increase by nearly a third – at no extra cost to you!

For example :

If you donate £10 – HM Revenue and Customs will add £2.82 giving a total benefit for Praxis Care of £12.82.

Donors who are liable at the higher rate of income tax can claim the difference between the higher rate of 40% and the basic rate of 22% on the grossed up donation.
