Yesterday, Praxis Care St.Paul's Court welcomed the Virtual Dementia Bus as part of the Virtual Dementia Tour.

The Virtual Dementia Bus is funded by the South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust and is a scientifically proven way of helping care staff and family members understand what those with dementia experience everyday.

The bus was open to families, carers and staff from the voluntary sector, and the Trust. The Praxis Care team were grateful to have had the opportunity to gain first hand experience of the physical and mental challenges facing those with dementia, and will use this experience to continue to deliver the best possible, patient-centred care.
