On the 14th of August 2009, the Ardee Scheme, Cornerstones, went on a day trip to Belfast. It was very successful and everyone had a lovely time.
Staff members Steven and Graham organised the outing for Shane Clarke, David Lally and myself (Luke O’Daly)
We left by train from Dundalk and arrived into Belfast at lunchtime. We had a lovely lunch in Wetherspoons before going for a wonderful ride on the Big Wheel.
We could see Belfast right to the outskirts, and we got our photograph taken as a souvenir. We then went to see the Tall Ships which was another great experience.
We finished the day in Belfast by getting the train back to Dundalk.
All round it was a lovely enjoyable outing.
