Calling all Green Fingers! – Support Praxis Care at Garden Show Ireland!

Garden Show Ireland is taking place Friday 21st May to Sunday 23rd May 2010 10am to 6pm each day. The Garden Show is again being run in the Praxis Care Secret Garden on the Moira Road, Hillsborough with over 30,000 visitors expected.

Green-fingered gardeners and budding enthusiasts will find lots to see buy and learn at the Garden Festival.

If you are looking for a fun day out or a weekend away, the Garden Festival has plenty to enjoy! Kids are very welcome too, with plenty of activities to keep them occupied during your visit to the Show. Children under the age of 16 are FREE when accompanied by an adult.

Paul Collins Assistant Director Fundraising and Communications says

“Praxis Care will be offering a wide range of activities for all the visitors including Secret Garden Coffee Shop open throughout the show, Plant crèche, Plant sale including hand made hanging baskets Barbeque on Saturday and Sunday.

In addition, there will be a Praxis Care stand in the main exhibitor area where Praxis Care will be selling raffle tickets at £1 each with the first prize being a garden hamper with hedge clippers, watering can and other gardening goodies and a £50 Homebase voucher. The first prize has kindly donated by Homebase Boucher Road.

In addition, Praxis Care will be selling tray bakes and gooseberry jam which have been made by our service users as well as trolley discs, seeds and long life bags
