2nd Castletown Brownies, Isle of Man in partnership with Praxis Care recently launched a new Mental Health Challenge for their members.
The challenge is aimed at Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and older girls.
When the girls complete the challenge which involves activities such as creating posters and jars of creativity they will be awarded a certificate and badge.
In addition they can get a toy blue elephant that represents mental ill health as the “elephant in the room”.
Paul Collins Assistant Director Fundraising and PR says:
“This is a fantastic way for the girls to find out about mental health issues in a fun and stimulating environment.
Through creative expression, games and activities the girls are able to explore the area of mental health and help them to understand the issues.
Praxis Care are delighted to be involved and support this campaign”
