Are you passionate about supporting those most vulnerable in our society? We currently have the following vacancies within our Douglas scheme.
Praxis Care’s services across the Isle of Man are providing innovative and bespoke packages of care for some of the most vulnerable individuals. Each Service User will have a tailored package to support their being able to live within the community in a supported living setting. In the Douglas Bespoke service our dedicated team of staff provide 24 hour 1:1 support to an individual with a Learning Disability who lives in their own home. Our staff are involved in developing the Service User’s confidence and abilities to live as independently as possible. Routine, structure and the provision of a consistent approach across the staff team is important to the Service User.
There will be challenges on the way as we support the Service User to reach their desired goals. Praxis Care plans to make a real difference in people’s lives by creating opportunities and collaborating with other agencies to promote the best outcomes for each individual. We will ensure the staff have the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver the specialist care and support required and encourage active learning opportunities and career progression.

Job Title: Support Worker
Scheme: Douglas Bespoke
Salary: Full Time & Relief:
£8.20 per hour, £15,990 per annum – less than 2 years’ experience
£10.49 per hour, £20,452 per annum – NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 2 years’ experience
£10.77, £20,995 per annum – NVQ/QCF Level 3 or above
*Salary information is based on working 37.5 hours per week. You will be required to do sleep-ins; an additional payment of £45.00 per night applies.
