Praxis Care continues to make a difference to the lives of people living with learning disabilities, mental ill health, acquired brain injury or dementia across Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, England and Isle of Man.


As a payroll manager you will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and ensuring that the end to end monthly payroll process is completed for all employees in each of the jurisdictions we operate.

The post holder will manage a small team to provide a professional, effective and timely payroll service to all employees of Praxis Care, the relevant tax / regulatory authorities, and other external agencies whilst ensuring the integrity of all data entered into the relevant payroll software packages for payment.

We are looking for a self-motivated, organised and process-orientated person who is resilient to the pressure of deadlines, and wants to make a positive difference to the working lives of our staff.

To be considered for this role you must meet the essential criteria, which includes;


  • A recognised payroll qualification and 3 years’ experience in running the end to end payroll process
  • OR
  • At least five years relevant experience running the end-to-end payroll process
  • AND
  • Extensive knowledge of statutory regulations and returns.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Experience of working with large payroll (250+ employees)
