Everything we do here at Praxis Care centres around making a difference to the lives of people living with Intellectual Disabilities, mental ill health, acquired brain injury or dementia and to do this, we have a team of exceptional care and support workers. We are the largest care providing charity in Northern Ireland and also have large operations across Republic of Ireland, England and Isle of Man, employing over 1450 staff.


We currently have the following vacancies within our Intellectual Disability Services.





Full Time & Fixed Term Contracts Available Support Worker €26,590 – €36,680 per annum pro rata depending on qualifications


Note: Salary is dependent on Qualifications. Where the role requires sleep-ins, a minimum additional payment of €74 per night applies.


Brookwood is located in Dublin 13. Brookwood is a dynamic Child Centred Residential scheme providing care for young people aged 11-16 with mild to moderate intellectual difficulties. The scheme supports and encourages young people to get involved in the community whilst attending school and afterschool activities. There is full Induction Training to all new staff. As you progress within your role extra training needs are identified and offered. Professional progression is encouraged within Praxis Care.
