Kimberely House Newtownards

In addition to existing vacancies, we are also compiling a waiting list for full time, part time, relief and night positions which are available within:

Mental Health Services: Newtownards DISH and Newtownards Home Response, Newtownards

Learning Disability Services:    Forest Hill & Beechfield Children’s Respite Units, Conlig; and Kimberley House & Ards Domiciliary Care, Newtownards. Some of these positions are subject to GOQ under the Employment Equality (Age) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2006.


Full Time, Part Time, Nights Support Worker £8.20/£8.35 per hour, £16,630/£16,945 per annum pro rata – Unqualified Rate

£8.50/£8.65 per hour, £17,238/£17,553 per annum pro rata – Qualified Rate

Relief Support Workers £8.20 per hour – Unqualified Rate

£8.50 per hour – Qualified Rate


Note: Higher rates include a lead in payment of £315 per annum which is payable depending on scheme classification.  Where the role requires sleep-ins, a minimum additional payment of £45.00 per night applies
