Praxis Care has a long standing reputation for excellence with a high demand for services and as part of this the organisation is currently going through an exciting time of change and growth.  We currently have sites across Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, England and the Isle of Man offering Services to individuals living with mental ill Health, learning disability, acquired brain injury or dementia and will be expanding these services both in size and location over the next few years. We currently have 1,400 dedicated and committed staff which is due to increase to approximately 4,000 over 5 years.

 

Praxis Care have been commissioned by the Northern Health & Social Care Trust and NIHE Supporting People to deliver care and support at The Croft, Abbots Road, Newtownabbey. The Croft is a £3.1M newly built supported living accommodation service for people diagnosed with early stage dementia who wish to live independently in the community.

 

We have a range of exciting full and part time positions available for experienced social care workers and also for people at the beginning of their career in social care.

Full Time Support Worker

  (36 hours per week)

£8.20 per hour / £16,630* per annum pro rata (Unqualified Rate)

£8.50 per hour / £17,238* per annum pro rata (Qualified Rate)

*Salaries are based on working 39 hours per week.

Relief Support worker

£8.20 per hour (Unqualified Rate)

£8.50 per hour (Qualified Rate)
