Nevin Ringland, the Chief Executive and Founder of Praxis Care, has won the UK wide Directory of Social Change Life Time Achievement Award.
The award was presented at a prestigious Directory of Social Change Awards Ceremony in London and is in recognition of Nevin Ringland’s life time commitment to the voluntary sector.
The Life Time Achievement Award is for individuals who have made a major impact on their organisation/community and have devoted their time and energy to achieving sustained positive change over the span of their working lives. Their work has demonstrated measurable positive results and changes that have made a difference to individuals or the wider community.

“By working with children and adults who have mental health problems, learning disabilities, dementia and those who have acquired brain injury, Nevin Ringland has helped shape the face of community care in Northern Ireland.
Praxis Care provides support to 1,400 vulnerable children and adults affected by mental ill heath, learning disability, acquired brain injury and dementia in Northern Ireland, England, the Republic of Ireland and the Isle of Man.
