Praxis Care art at Brú na Bóinne visitor’s centre, Co Meath


In September the service users and staff from Praxis Care The Hub in County Louth welcomed a group of four Art Master’s students from The National College of Art and Design to scheme. During their two weeks in The Hub the students planned and facilitated classes and visits to local attractions and architectural sites, which in turn inspired their final pieces of art work.

Each of the service users were supported to create individual pieces using a variety of materials and interesting techniques. Which are currently being exhibited at  at the famous location of Newgrange County Meath. This exhibition was launched on September 15th and was initially due to run for two weeks. However, due to the popularity of the pieces it has been extended for a further two weeks and therefore will on display for public viewing until October 15th.
