Northern Ireland’s largest charity, Praxis Care has been awarded a significant contract by Trafford Council, Trafford, in South Manchester, to run three care homes for adults with a learning disability who may also have a physical disability.

The 3 care homes will provide residential care to 21 adults who have a learning disability and may also have a physical disability. The homes were previously operated by Sale and Altrincham Mencap. Praxis Care worked closely with Trafford AdSS Commissioners to ensure delivery of the high quality care and support expected.
Praxis Care, headquartered in Belfast employs almost 1200 staff at its locations in Northern Ireland, The Republic of Ireland, England and the Isle of Man. Praxis provides care to adults and children with a learning disability, mental ill health, acquired brain injury and dementia.
