Two Peaks, Two Days, The Weekend of your Life!
Praxis Care is running a Two Peaks Walk Challenge on 25th and 26th August 2012.
Volunteers are being asked to climb the twin peaks of Carrantuohill (Co Kerry) and Slieve Donard (Co Down) over the course of the weekend.
Individuals need to raise £495 and this covers the cost of transport, food and accommodation for the weekend.
Praxis Care is a leading charity providing care and support for adults and children with learning disabilities, mental ill health and acquired brain injury.
Paul Collins, Assistant Director Fundraising & Communications, Praxis Care says:
“The Praxis Care Twin Peaks Walk Challenge is a great opportunity for individuals to visit and climb two of the highest mountains in Ireland and raise much needed funds for Praxis Care.
All monies raised from the event will go towards supporting Praxis Care’s fantastic work in Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man and England for vulnerable adults and children.”
