World Mental Health Day

Praxis Care believes that anyone experiencing a mental health condition should have the opportunity to live their lives as they choose. We provide a range of accommodation and support services, including day services and befriending schemes, throughout the UK and Ireland to ensure that those with mental ill health are fully supported within all aspects of their lives.

The theme of this year’s World Mental Health Day focuses on ‘Mental Health in the Workplace.’ One in four people will experience a mental health problem in their lives, and with a large proportion of our lives spent at work, our experiences in the workplace and the working environment can have a massive impact on our health and mental wellbeing.

Many people feel confused about discussing the issue at work, but employers and organisations who promote good mental health and support employees, gain from a more motivated, productive and all round healthier workforce. We have included some steps below which you can take to look after yourself and create a healthier working environment.
